How To Prepare Yourself for the Decorating Process
Our first consultation involves not only meeting and discussing your project profile sheet, but we will also walk through your space(s) to access your needs. Next we will measure, take copious notes, and complete the meeting with not only a better understanding of what your needs are, but a complete overall research analysis to give you at our next meeting. We will also go over our contract and answer any questions you might have.
We are open to working with your furniture and can provide you with upholstery, repair, and refinishing services. We prefer to use fabric and trim you select from us for quality control reasons, but we do make exceptions. We do, however, emphasize the quality and value of our own custom furniture manufacturers should you desire a new style or frame.
You are welcome to use your painters, wallpaper hangers, and carpenters with whom you feel comfortable; however, we require you use our drapery house for window treatments so we can provide you with our hands-on quality service.
Custom items do take time. Once fabrics and trim have been selected, and we receive a downpayment, we immediately place your order. However, some fabrics may be backordered. We are aware of this when we check the stock and prices prior to placing the order. We will then inform you of any foreseeable delay. Window treatments, flooring, bedding, pillows and tablerounds take between 4-6 weeks on the average, upholstery takes 3 weeks, and furniture takes between 9-12 weeks, on the average. We check on the status of your order on a continual basis and keep you informed of all transactions via phone or email. |
